This site was initiated in 1997 by Dr. Jiayang Sun at the Statistics Department of Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio, USA.

It was developed, authored and managed by Dr. Mary Regier from 1997 to 2001.

The 2001 redesign of the web pages is by Paul Grinberg.

The logo, obtained through the efforts of statistician/artist Susana Esrequis, was designed in a 1998-9 class given by Prof. Bill Ransom of the University of Tennessee.
